Dorman lost 28-27 to Dutch Fork in the 5A State Championship game Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia. The Cavaliers scored with 19 seconds left in regulation to narrow the gap to one, and elected to go for 2 for the win. John Gelotte was knocked off his feet just short of the goal line on the play, and Dutch Fork held on for the title. The Cavaliers came into the game on a 12 game win streak after dropping their first two regular season games of the season. Dorman finished the season 12-3. Congrats to our Cavaliers!
