Dorman High School Announces Allie Bolden as New Head Cheer Coach

Dorman High School is excited to announce Allie Bolden as the new Head Coach of Competitive Cheer.  Allie comes to Dorman following a successful four-year tenure as the Head Coach at Chapman High School.
 
During her time at Chapman, Coach Bolden's teams claimed four region championships and finished in the top 7 of the state every year.  In the last two seasons, her teams finished in the top four of the state.  She was also named Region Coach of the Year in each of her four seasons at Chapman.
 
"I am honored and excited to be the new Dorman High School Competitive Cheer Coach!" said Coach Allie Bolden. "This program is known for its top-tier talent and outstanding performances. I look forward to an incredible season of growth, hard work, and teamwork.  Together, we will strive for excellence and make Dorman proud!"
 
Prior to Chapman, Coach Bolden served as an assistant coach with the Chesnee Varsity Competitive Cheer team and Chesnee Middle School Cheer team.  As a student at Clemson University, Coach Bolden was a member of the All-Girl Cheerleading squad which included a trip to the 2017 Football National Championship game.
 
Dorman Athletic Director Jon Stoehr said he looks forward to welcoming Allie Bolden to the Dorman Athletics Staff: "Coach Bolden brings a proven track record of success to the Dorman Competitive Cheer program.  She has a clear vision for building on our strong tradition and helping the program reach new heights.  Her knowledge of the sport and passion to help young people are clearly evident.  I am thrilled for our cheerleaders and for our Competitive Cheer program."
 
Coach Bolden attended Boiling Springs High School.  During her time with the Boiling Springs Competitive Cheer team she was a four time letter winner, was named All-Region, was a part of two region championship teams, and was part of both a State Runner-Up team and State Championship team.
 
Plans to introduce Coach Bolden to the Dorman community will be announced at a later date.
