Dorman lost 57-45 to River Bluff High School in the Boys Basketball 5A State Championship. The Cavaliers were going for the 5th straight title but came up short down the stretch. The Cavaliers led 45-40 with just over 4 minutes remaining in the 4th but went stone cold and didn't score again. Dorman, trying to build on 4 consecutive state titles, came into the game riding a 18 game winning streak. Jalen Breazeale led the Cavaliers with 14 points and Myles Jenkins led the Gators with 31 points.
