Dorman wasn't able to overcome the loss of standout hitter Lauren Mims and lost 3-0 to TL Hanna in the 5A Upper State Championship game. TL Hanna won 25-20, 25-20, and 25-15 as the Cavaliers were dealt with a an uphill battle after learning they would be without one of their best hitters.
Dorman finished the season 18-2 and won the Region 2-5A Championship.
