As the new school year got rolling last week, so did the fall sports season for the Dorman Cavaliers. Here is a closer look at the strong start for athletic teams at Dorman.
On Friday:
- Varsity football defeated Wade Hampton 58-7
On Saturday:
- Varsity volleyball won nine matches including a victory over Gaston Day in the championship to win the Byrnes Invitational!
- Varsity boys cross country finished 1st and JV boys cross country finished 8th in the Western North Carolina Cross Country Carnival Meet in Hendersonville.
- Varsity girls cross country finished 6th and JV girls cross country finished 13th in the Western North Carolina Cross Country Carnival Meet
- Varsity girls tennis defeated Gaffney 5-1 to finish in third place in the Highway 221 Eye Opener Tournament
